PRUREX lotion
which, being a local anaesthetic , relieves from the itching
immediately. It is a fluid lotion with Benzyl Alcohol (contained in many
purposely made creams) used as local anaesthetic to lower the itching
sensation and used in Prunex also as disinfectant.
It contains also 7% Benzyl Benzoate ( against itching and disinfectant)
and it is particularly active against Chitine of which the acarus skeleton
is made up, melting it.
It also has an Ester Aminobenzoic of which local soothing main
characteristic accompanies the specific activity of the other
components.
INDICATIONS: Prurex is useful in the local treatment of all forms of
itching, so it is an added and different weapon to the traditional topics
available to doctors (Antistaminics and Cortisonics) and ,differently to
them because of Benzyl Benzoate presence, it will become specific in
all those forms of itching caused by contact with acari ( like the one
caused by pets, by wood and flour dust).
Prurex also helps with insects bites and erythema. Avoid direct contact
with wounds and mucose because Benzyl Benzoate can burn. It is
particularly indicated for cronic senile itching and pruritus sine materia.
METHOD OF USE: As required smooth the product once to three times
a day on the concerned parts and rub accurately until the total
absorption. Prurex can also be applied around the intimate parts , being
careful to possibly avoid the direct contact with the mucose. Prurex is
indicated for adults and children over three years of age.
